Day 16: Inspired by a Famous Painting

Hello Lovelies! Todays challenge is a look inspired by a famous painting. I choose to do my all time favorite painting Starry Night By Vincent Van Gogh. I Decided to have some fun with this and not make it an everyday makeup look. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out so now if I ever have a famous painting party I'm prepared!

Day 15: Black and White

Hello Lovelies! Half way there! todays challenge is black and white. I love working with black and white because they allow for a lot of drama with the stark contrast between them. I decided to tone down the contrast just a bit as I have work today.

Day 14: Pink

Hello lovelies! Today is day 14 of the challenge which is pink. Pink is a common color used in make up. It is often used on the lips or cheeks, however it is rarely used on the eyes. Pink can be very pretty used on the eyes if done correctly. I opted for a simple everyday look today.

Day 13: Green

Hello lovelies! Today is day 13 of the 30 day makeup challenge which is green. I love the color green however I never have thought to use green on my face. I'm excited to see how green looks in an everyday look so I decided to go for a more wearable option.

For the face...

• I started out by applying concealer where needed then applying powder over top to set it. 
• On the cheeks I applied a light wash if coral blush. 

For the eyes I wanted it to be really simple.

• I took an olive green shadow and blended it into the crease. 
• Next I lined my eyes with a green pencil liner. 
• I did a winged liner. 
• Then I curled my lashes. 
• Then I applied 2-3 coats of mascara. 

For the lips...

• I applied a touch of pink gloss for added shine.

Day 12: Purple

Hello Lovelies! Today is day 12 of the 30 day challenge which is purple. Purple is my favorite color of all time which oddly enough I rarely wear it or use it in make up. Purple is very easy to use and can make green eyes really stand out. I decided to go for a bold look today but this could very easily be toned down for a more everyday look.

For this look I started by

• Apply concealer where needed.
• Then powder over top to set it.
• Then take a Light pink blush and apply to the apples of the cheeks.

For the eyes...

• I started by applying a lavender with a pink undertone to the lids.
• The I took a dark purple shadow and blended it into the crease
• Then I took a even darker shade of purple and blended it into the crease focusing on the outer third of the crease.
• Then I took a purple pencil liner and lined the eyes and the waterline
• I wanted an intense liner so I took some loose purple Eyeshadow and mixed in a drop of eyedrops then applied that onto of the liner.
• Then I curled the lashes
• Then applied 2-3 coats of mascara

For the lips 

• I took a purple liquid lipstick and applies that to the lips

Day 11: Gold

Hello Lovelies! Today is day 11 which is gold. Gold is one of my favorite colors to use in makeup and gold looks good on almost any skin tone.

For the face

• I applied concealer where needed then powdered over top to set it
• On the cheeks I applied a light wash of a bright pink blush

For the eyes 

• I started with a primer on the lids
• Then I applies a light pink eyeshadow as a base to warm up the gold.
• Then I applies a gold eyeshadow the the lids.
• Next I blended a bronze shadow into the crease for added depth.
• After that I applied a black liquid liner to the eyes with a wing
• Then I curled the lashes. 
• Then I applied 2-3 coats of mascara. 

For the lips

• First I exfoliated the lips
• This is an essential first step before a lips stain cause otherwise it does not apply evenly
• Next I applied a red lip stain
• I started by outlining the lips and then filling in the rest
• After that I added a red gloss for an even bolder red
• Finally I added a gold shadow to the center of the lips for a highlight

Day 10: Orange

Hello Lovelies! Today is day ten of the 30 day challenge which is orange. Orange is not a color typically used in everyday makeup, nonetheless it very pretty used on the face and can be very chic and modern.

For the face...

• I applied concealer and power over top where it was needed.
• then on the cheeks I applied a Light orange blush with a brown undertone to the hallow part of my cheeks.

For the eyes I decided to go more minimal because i wanted the lips to be the highlight of this look

• I started by applying a eyeshadow primer.
• I swept an orange eyeshadow into the crease focusing the color on the outer corner of the eye. 
• Next I curled my lashes.
• Then applied 2-3 coats of mascara 

For the lips...

•  I took a orange gloss and start by outlining the lips and then filled in with the color
