Day 30: Glitter

Hello my lovelies! Today is the last day, day 30, which is glitter! I saved glitter for the last day because who doesn't love glitter! for todays look I'm  just doing the eyes because I've still got that lovely accessory on my lips... gotta love cold sores! For the eyes I decided to do a silver smokey eye with tons of glitter for that added shimmer

Day 29: Childlike

Hello Lovelies! Today is day 29 (only one more day!) which is childlike. I decided for todays look to pull from one of my favorite childhood toys barbie. She always has blue shadow and bubble gum pink lips. I decided to make this look a little more grown up by doing a smokey blue eye shadow and for the lips I did nothing cause I still have that blasted cold sore! However if I did not I would have also done a bubble gum pink lip to go with the blue smokey eye.

I love how this look turned out the blue is very dramatic with a hint of childhood whimsy. What do y'all think? Let me know in the comments below!

Day 28: Animal Print

Hello Lovelies!Today is day 28 which is animal print. For my animal I choose to do a leopard! I decided to keep things simple and do a hint of the leopard print on the crease of the eyes. I left the lips out today cause I got a cold sore.... Wahoo.....

Day 27: Geometric

Hello lovelies! Today is Day 27 which is geometric I decided to go for a simple everyday way to incorporate geometric  Geometric shapes are very fashion forward but how every can be hard to incorporate into an everyday makeup look.

I am really pleased with how this look turned out in the future I may experiment with using different shapes and mix and matching shapes.

Day 26: Monster

Hello Lovelies! Today is day 26 of the challenge which is a monster. I decided to go for a theatrical look and go all out. The monster I choose to do is a ghost! I've been watching a lot of supernatural recently and the ghost scare me the most.

I think this look turned out pretty awesome! Maybe it will be this years halloween costume! What do y'all think? Let me know in the comments below!

Day 25: Colorful

Hello Lovelies! Today is the 25th Day which is colorful. I decided to have a lot of fun with this look and go for a bolder look that i would not typically wear out in the daytime. If I was to wear this I would chose to do either the lips or the eyes not both together.

I am very pleased with how this turned out. I think I will experiment with using more colors in the future rather than sticking to my normal browns. What do y'all think? Do you like the colorful look as well? Let me know in the comments below!

Day 24: Monochromatic

Hello lovelies! Today is Day 24, only 6 days left, which is monochromatic. Monochromatic can be a hard look to pull off because you are severely limiting your color palette. For my look I decided to go with pink. Using only pink on the eyes is very challenging cause it can cause the eyes too look off like you've been crying all day. To help combat that appearance of crying I like to go bold with the pink.

Day 23: Complementary Colors

Hello lovelies! Today is day 23 which is complementary colors. I chose to do split complements. split complements are the colors that would be found right next to the exact complement of the color. For example I choose purple, which complement would be yellow, but the split complement would be either orange or green.  For my look I went with orange and purple.

Its kinda hard to see the orange but its blended into the crease of the eye.

I love the way orange and purple look together it is surprisingly beautiful! Who would have thought that? What do y'all think do y'all like the orange and purple? Let me know in the comments below!

Day 22: Natural

Hello Lovelies! Today it is day 22 which is a natural look. I love how easily natural looks make you look pretty and not so much the makeup. My personal philosophy behind makeup is to enhance what one already has and not to create what one does not have and with using natural makeup it is so much easier to enhance. Don't get me wrong though I do love using colors and having fun with my makeup I just think its to enhance not alter.

Day 21: Inspired by a Photo

Hello Lovelies! Today it the 21st day of the 30 day challenge which is taking inspiration from a photo. For my photo I choose the photo shown below (I found it on Pinterest). I chose this picture because I like the color scheme it is simple and has a very clean and modern look. Ive also have always been a huge fan of the beach even though I've only been twice. Thats still long enough to know you love it right?

Day 20: Inspired by Favorite Villain

Hello Lovelies! Today is the 20th Day in the 30 day challenge (only 10 days left!). Todays challenge is to do a look inspired by a your favorite villain which mine is.... Maleficent! The villain from Disney's classic film sleeping beauty. I have always been a huge fan of that film cause Aurora sounds like my name Lora. I decided to do a wearable everyday look as I have work today and don't want to look too ostentatious. I pulled the color scheme from her look (green purple, and black) to give just an essence of maleficent.

I am pretty pleased as punch at how this turned out what a great way to honor such a cool villain. What do y'all think? Let me know in the comments below!

Day 19: Night

Hello Lovelies! Todays look is inspired by the night. For this look I choose to go for a bold look that one would wear for a night on the town. I chose to take deep blues and purples to most closely resemble the intensity that is the night sky.

Day 18: Sunset

Helllo Lovelies! Today is the 18th day of the 30 day challenge which is a look inspired by a sunset. for this look i pulled the colors from the sunset (yellow, pink, purple, blue) and did a gradient like you would find in the sky. This is more an everyday look cause it is understated and not bold and in your face.

I'm very pleased with how this turned out. The colors work beautifully together to create an interesting but subtle look. What do y'all think? I would love to know.

Day 17: Inspired by a Season

Hello Lovelies! For todays challenge I choose to do spring. I did a more everyday day time look(as I had church) and did hints of floral colors on the lid and then for an extra pop i lined the bottom lashes with a punch of a green for added spring flavor to this look.
